  • Yeah!!! THX!! testing in progress... will provide feedback ASAP!
  • Hmm, for some reason the 'deactivate' button doesn't seem to work in Chrome and Safari. (3.3.1 and 1.0.4RC1).
  • Works fine for me, but nothing very complex: http://balloonqueen.ca/

    Thanks guys!
  • Tested on 6 different sites, had to fix a small number of actions interfering with the new loop, but everything seems rock-solid right now. Thanks a million!!
  • I've just updated a couple of my sites to PW and WP 3.3.1, and I've got a couple small problems on one of them.

I had to re-add my header logo, but I think this was a plugin issue. It seems the plugin, Dynamic Headers no longer works. :( I am now using the PW toolbar to display my header logo... but this has lead to another problem...

The drop down menu is appearing BEHIND the header logo. I have my menu ABOVE my header logo, so that is how it is possible that the menu drops down near the header logo... but why is it behind it? :(

Also my social icons are appearing twice now, and I am sure this is because I had altered them to appear elsewhere using BriefCase. So now I have a secondary set of social icons appearing at the top of my site, but much smaller than the normal ones I've used to seeing.

    See here: http://www.crazyregcomics.com.

And lastly, I was having trouble logging into Dashboard, it was timing out. After 15 mins of not being able to get in, I managed to get in from the actual website URL, and then clicking on the Dasboard link at the top. So it somehow remembered I was logged in, but going to http://www.crazyregcomics.com/wp-admin was not working at all... And still isn't. Weird...

    Any suggestions?

  • I'm limiting customization for the moment to customizing CSS using briefcase.

Is that going to allow a clean update to 1.0.4, or are you also making CSS changes that could break CSS residing in briefcase?

What about widgets? Are you making any changes in the way plug-ins integrate with the 1.0.4?

I guess what I'm really asking is:

What kind of customizations should I avoid in order to upgrade to 1.0.4 and take advantage of any 1.0.4 enhancements without breaking stuff that was working as desired in !.0.3?

ANY educated guess on when 1.0.4 will be released? (1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6months - just to give me an idear.
  • ALSO: I'm happy to do some testing. Are there some specific things that need testing - or perhaps specific browsers that need to be tested?

I'm on Win 7 64bit if that makes any difference.

Here is final you can download and install manually:

    Here's the changelog:

If you did customize the post actions previously in your themes then you'll need to re-write your customization because of the way post actions are split in more parts now.

  • The color chooser does not work in Safari... works fine in IE.
  • Anyone know why my header logo is appearing BEHIND the drop down menu as I mentioned in my last post?

  • I don't like leaving the Crazy Reg Comics site looking "incomplete" so I've gone back to PW 1.0.3 and WP 3.2. I think I will wait until the next release of PW is stable.

I'm sticking to the latest version of PW and WP for the other site I'm doing, SPC.

  • Hi,
Are there any estimates when PW will be updated to work with WP 3.3?
