Remove or Disable Comments
  • What is the best way to go about this. I assume it's by using a child theme... should I just duplicate the parent theme functions.php file and edit that? Or do is there another way? Thanks for your help. (love PressWork btw, very nice!)

    There are options in the WordPress settings to control the comment section. You can turn them off there or even on individual posts/pages.

  • After using the WP settings, insert this CSS to remove the "Comments are closed" text, meta info, and "edit" link:

    .nocomments {display:none;}

    .meta {display:none;}

    .post-edit-link {display:none;}
